As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality, we are pleased to share that a full transformation of our guest rooms, lobby, and outlets is underway. Lobby renovation has begun and will continue intermittently through September 1.

From June 9 September 1, our restaurant and bar will be closed, with dining thoughtfully offered through our in-room service, perfect for relaxing in comfort and privacy. During this time, our fitness center will also be refreshed June 9 September 1. We're pleased to provide complimentary access to a nearby premium fitness studio so you can continue your wellness routine with ease.

In-room dining is offered daily from 5:30 AM to 11:45 PM. Continental breakfast is served from 5:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and full breakfast from 6:30 AM to 11:00 AM. The all-day dining menu is available between 12:00 PM and 10:30 PM. Beverage service runs from 8:00 AM to 11:45 PM (starting at 10:00 AM on Sundays) and includes a full selection of alcoholic beverages. All guest rooms and suites are equipped with a minibar refrigerator.

Nice hotel bar !

Had some drinks at the bar in the back of the hotel. Pricing was good and service was good as well. Dark decor with a restaurant attached. Nice choice for a drink. Have stayed at the hotel as well and it’s very nice ! Always a great staple in Manhattan

Great Location - French Hospitality - new rooms are amazing

I know, the hotel gets some critical feedback during the renovation time. But I must say the hotel staff is amazing and tries everything to make your stay a great one. Everything is well organised and the noise level is minimal during day time. We had the chance to experience already one of the new rooms, which have a very high comfort and are very cosy. The breakfast team is outstanding and the welcoming and service level is very high. The manger on Duty during check, asked us for feedback on the new room which I found very proactive. Even during renovations we had a great time and the location is just perfect to visit New York. Can't wait to see the hotel shining in new splendour in September.

J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel du 29 mai au 1er juin 2025, chambre 2216. L'hôtel est très bien situé, facilement accessible et proche de Time Square. Hôtel très vieillissant, des travaux sont en court pour le rafraichir. Petit déjeuner très moyen, servi à l'assiette, il n'y a pas de buffet, comme nous pouvons l'avoir dans la quasi intégralité des hôtels du groupe Accor. Le tarif n'est pas en rapport avec le niveau de services de l'hôtel et de la qualité des installations. Accor a un très gros chantier de réhabilitations à prévoir pour remettre cet hotel au standard de 2025. Il est resté dans les années 2000 voir 1990.

- very bad welcoming, not friendly staff, never say hello, don't propose any solution when we alert about our room issues, lobby was under construction but it was not written anywhere when I booked the room, I was awake every morning at 7:45 due to construction noise in the building behind my room - for sure i will not book a room at the New York sofitel next time I chose Sofitel thinking it was a premium experience and hotel but it was a very bad stay - so disappointed by the brand and the staff
